There has been a lot of controversy around the Police, Crime, Sentencing and Courts Bill. Namely its interference with our right to protest. This cannot and should not be accepted.
The next stage of this Bill is where amendments can be made. Seven amendments have been proposed with the idea that they are all passed in conjunction with one another thereby removing the whole of Part 3, the section that relates to protesting, from the Bill.
We believe that this is exactly what is needed and no other amendments would be beneficial in regards to protesting.
Write to your MP below to ask them to stand up for democracy and human rights by voting in favour of these amendments when they are brought before the house.
