The Role:
With a Facebook group of over 10,000 members, a Facebook page with over 94,000 followers and an Instagram profile with over 27,000 followers, we need individuals who can diligently help us moderate pending posts, moderate and engage with group members, manage our Facebook Page inbox, etc.
We currently require individuals for the following roles across our Facebook page, group and independent social network:
- Moderators
- Community Engagement
Required Experience:
- Experience with engaging groups and communities in the online space.
- Ability to diffuse and manage potentially challenging behaviours while maintaining our community ethos and values.
Other Desired Attributes:
- A willingness to be a part of a growing movement of people looking to maintain their human rights.
The Role:
With a Facebook group of over 10,000 members, a Facebook page with over 94,000 followers and an Instagram profile with over 27,000 followers, we need an experienced social media marketer/manager to help us maintain and grow our community of followers.
As an experienced social media marketer/manager, you love to geek out on analysing the performance data, optimising social media campaigns and creating cohesive, yet compelling strategies and content to promote the goals of our organisation.
Essential Skills:
- Develop cross-channel strategies that align to and achieve organisation goals.
- Develop and maintain social media strategies, best practices, guides and policies.
- Define key KPIs and performance benchmarks, referring to performance data analysis, for social channels.
- Lead on, and launch, social campaigns.
You Will Also Have Experience (or a willingness to learn):
- Solid and demonstrable line management experience and good knowledge of team development.
- Excellent understanding of balancing theory and practicality to achieve goals.
- Proven experience in creating, developing and executing social media strategy and plans.
- Experience in utilising performance data to optimise campaigns.
- Experience working in a large, fast paced business.

The Role:
You’re versed in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop) but also willing to work in Canva as required. {You will need to have your own copy of ACS but will be given access to Canva.}
Required Experience:
- Experience with conceptualising and creating designs to capture our brand whilst ensuring the message is not lost across a variety of projects is essential.
- Ability to work within a rapidly changing environment and small, but growing and diverse IT, Design & Marketing Teams is also needed.
- Experience working with Adobe Creative Suite and/or Canva.

- Ability to work on multiple projects and responsive to requests from marketing team.
We are seeking a talented and passionate Copywriter/Content Creator to join our team.
As a Copywriter/Content Creator, you will play a vital role in conveying our organisation’s mission, values, and initiatives through engaging and impactful written content. Your words will have the power to inspire, educate, and mobilise individuals to support our campaigns.
Responsibilities:
Content Creation: Develop compelling and persuasive written content for various platforms, including websites, social media, blogs, newsletters, press releases, and fundraising materials. Craft messages that effectively communicate our organisation’s goals, campaigns, and achievements.
Storytelling: Tell powerful stories of individuals affected by human rights issues here in the UK, highlighting their experiences and advocating for change.
Editing and Proofreading: Review and edit content to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to our brand guidelines. Proofread all materials to eliminate errors in grammar, spelling, punctuation, and style.
Branding and Tone: Maintain consistency in our organisation’s tone and voice across all communication channels. Ensure that all content aligns with our brand guidelines, values, and messaging.
Collaboration: Collaborate with various teams, including advocacy, campaigns, and fundraising, to understand their objectives and create tailored content that supports their initiatives. Work closely with graphic designers, web developers, and multimedia producers to ensure cohesive storytelling across different mediums.
Stay Updated: Keep abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in content creation and digital marketing. Share insights and propose innovative ideas to enhance our communication strategies.
Experience:
- Proven experience as a Copywriter, Content Creator, or similar role, preferably in the nonprofit sector or within the field of human rights.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with a keen eye for detail and a strong command of grammar and syntax.
- Ability to craft engaging, persuasive, and impactful content that resonates with diverse audiences.
- Strong research skills and the ability to distil complex information into clear and concise messages.
- Familiarity with human rights issues, UK law, and global social justice movements.
- Proficiency in digital content creation tools, social media platforms, and content management systems.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

With the current situation changing daily, we are looking to build out a team of researchers who can help us stay on top of the rapid changing world of politics, legislation, medical information and science.
Required Experience:
- A reliable, self-motivated and thorough researcher.
- Able to ethically perform thorough and objective research into a variety of subjects.
- Compile and organise findings into articles, papers, graphs, charts, mock-ups, diagrams and infographics
- Effective communicator, able to identify trends and patterns.
- Used to working to tight deadlines.
- Familiar with database management
- Experience in designing surveys, questionnaires, polls, etc a useful trait!
- Good sense of humour is absolutely critical!
Experience in researching and navigating:
- Hansard
- BMJ (& other medical/scientific sites/journals)
- Google Scholar
(not inclusive, but gives you an idea)
The Role:
Assist with everyday running of our WordPress websites, helping to update pages, troubleshoot and build new pages from both mockups and verbal instructions.
Required Experience:
- versed with WordPress and Elementor Pro
- good command of English language
- familiar with CSS, PHP, HTML
Other Desired Experience:
(Note: If you have the required skills & experience but don’t have skills from the list below, please still get in touch.)
- understanding of UI/UX (although not crucial)
- customer support with experience of using ticket system(s)
- If you have full stack experience (Laravel, VUE JS, React JS, etc…
- Experience with server configuration and automated deployments is a bonus!
